I remember my first air to air photographic sortie like it was yesterday. The year was 1988 and I was flying upside down in formation with six AT-6 Harvards of the Roaring Forties. From then on I realised that the only true way to appreciate an aeroplane is to be sitting 10 feet away from it at 5000 feet. It has been an absolute priviledge flying with some of the best warbird pilots in the world, capturing the magic of flight.
