The opportunities I had on the set of The Lord of the Rings were solely due to the generosity of Peter Jackson. To be an extra in the Return of the King allowed me to take part in my dreams - these films are part of cinematic history. I have read The Lord of the Rings over 30 times since I was 14 years of age. I always thought New Zealand really was Middle-earth, we have the perfect geography for it.
