Kalgulup Regional Park - an Enhanced eBook I am pleased to share my latest enhanced e-Book created for the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions. Working with text provided by the department I have added many of my own images, interactivity and design to provide a book of over 100 pages showcasing the Kalgulup Regional Park located near Bunbury in Western Australia. The Kalgulup Regional Park eBook is a free guide to the important and fascinating natural areas around Bunbury and the Leschenault Estuary. The park features diverse ecosystems including coastal dunes, river foreshores, bushland, and the State’s southernmost white mangrove community. In an urban and semi-rural setting, the park also serves as a valuable recreational space for the Bunbury community. Activities such as walking, birdwatching, and connecting with nature promote community well-being and foster a deeper appreciation for the environment. The name ‘Kalgulup,’ meaning ‘place of fire’ in Noongar language, reflects the area's cultural heritage on the traditional lands of the Pinjarup, Wadandi, Kaneang, and Wiilmen peoples.
